Fairford Choir ‘A Splash of Red’ are hosting a concert on December 2nd, with guests the Windrush Ukulele Orchestra and Cirencester Male Voice Choir.
The concert was originally to have been held in Poulton, but has now been moved to St Mary’s Church in Bibury.
It begins at 7.30 and tickets (£10) are for sale at the door and only cash is accepted.
Stroll down past Bibury Trout Farm and the wonderful Arlington Row to the oldest part of the village to this Grade I listed Anglo-Saxon church built in the middle to late 11th century.
Christmas is always a time to think of others, not least all who suffer violence or hardship. The concert will raise funds for British Red Cross Israel and Occupied Palestine Territory Appeal and for Crisis at Christmas.
