Our next public performance will be to accompany the wonderful South Cerney-based women’s choir The Blue Notes in what promises to be a cracker of a Christmas Concert.
We are so pleased to have been asked to be their guests at the Holy Trinity Church, Watermoor, Cirencester, at 7.30pm on December 14th.
The Blue Notes are special friends and sang with us – to rapturous applause – at our recent Musicals Concert in the Parish Church. They are led by Music Director Louise Matley and most of their members have been performing for ten years or more.
The concert by two choirs from the heart of the Cotwolds will raise essential funds for the Prospect Hospice, which offers end-of-life care services for the community of more than 330,000 people in Swindon, Marlborough and north east Wiltshire.
The Prospect Hospice vision is for a community where death is no longer a taboo and everyone lives and dies well.
Tickets for what will be a very well-attended evening are at ticketsource.co.uk/bluenotes and we would recommend getting them while you can!
Cirencester Male Voice Choir performs a number of concerts each year in order to raise money for charities. We have performed in the Royal Albert Hall, Bath Abbey, Wells Cathedral and at the world’s largest male voice choir competition.
