CMVC are always proud to support local charities and pleased to spread the word about The Churn Project’s Charity Auction on Saturday evening (Sept 18th) where there is a host of amazing lots being offered.
A noble tea, wing-walking, wines, artworks, hampers, race tickets, a golf outing and autographed rugby items and, for the truly bold, even a Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen shirt suit and tie made by a Savile Row tailor are among myriad goodies being put up for sale.
The Churn Project is celebrating 20 years of amazing work finding practical solutions to life’s issues alongside vulnerable and marginalised people across the Cirencester.
They almost 2,000 from before birth to end-of-life, working with people who are seeking work, vulnerable families and older people and they run more than 25 different activities each week ranging from antenatal classes, to work clubs, and memory clubs.
The Auction is being held in the car park of the Moore Allen and Innocent Auction House on Burford Road, Cirencester, and the evening runs from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Entry costs £10 per car and there is pre-auction entertainment. An auction catalogue will be distributed on arrival.
